Instructions for presenters

Symposia​

Symposia consist of four presentations around a specific topic. The organizer of the symposium should submit the title of the symposium (max 12 words) followed by the titles, abstracts (each abstract: 150-200 words) and keywords (max 5 keywords) of the four presentations. The duration of each presentation will be of 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions.

Open Talks

Presenters of the open talks should submit the title of the talk (max 12 words) with the abstract (150-200 words) and keywords (max 5 keywords). The duration of the open talks will be of 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions.

Equipment for symposia and open talks: The conference organizers will provide a Windows laptop computer and a MacBook laptop computer. Presenters should load their presentations to one of these computers prior to the scheduled presentation time. Alternatively, presenters can also bring their own laptop computer and connector and, with the assistance of the staff, ensure a working connection between the computer and the projector.

Posters

This year the Poster Book will be published online as a single PDF document, containing the final versions of posters presented at ICPA-Guadalajara. The Poster Book will be made publicly available on the ISEP website after the conclusion of the conference. Posters can be cited as publications in “Studies in Perception and Action XVI".

Presenters of posters should submit the title of the poster (max. 12 words) with an abstract (150-200 words) and a maximum of 5 keywords. Maximum dimensions for posters are 130 cm high x 100 cm wide. Poster presenters are encouraged to print their posters on bond paper. Velcro will be provided to hold posters on stands.

After poster acceptance, presenters should submit the final version of the poster in a JPG or PDF format. The JPG or PDF version sent should be the same as the one presented in the poster session. (Please see the deadlines for poster submission and for poster final version submission).

Poster presenters will be assigned both a presentation day and a poster number. On the day of the presentation, presenters should look for the corresponding number on the poster stands. The presenter must be present during designated session.
