We are pleased to announce that ISEP will fund small number of “William Mace Travel Awards,” to support graduate student participation at ICPA 2023 in Guadalajara, Mexico. The award will consist of a waiver of the conference registration fee for the student.

To qualify for the Mace Travel Award: (1) the student must be nominated by a faculty advisor, (2) both the student and the nominating faculty advisor must be paid ISEP members, and (3) the student must be the first author on an accepted oral paper or poster presentation.

To apply for an award, the faculty advisor must submit a brief recommendation letter, along with the student's CV. The recommendation should briefly explain the value of having the student at the meeting, and his or her academic merit. Applications will be reviewed based on the following criteria:
+ The extent to which the research or conference travel is currently unfunded or unsupported by the applicant’s advisor, department, home university, or other sources.
+ The type of presentation (oral presentation or poster presentation).
+ Academic merit assessed in terms of its scholarly contributions.
+ Diversity of background.
